Licensed Roles vs Unlicensed Roles

In Emailgistics, you can have a mixture of licensed and unlicensed users within a shared mailbox. This flexibility allows team members to participate in ways that suit their roles—whether they need full access to manage emails and view reports or just limited visibility to adjust settings in the admin or just need access to the mailbox in 365.

Unlicensed Users

You can have members in the shared mailbox (in Exchange) who do not require an Emailgistics role or paid license. These are typically users, like IT team members or senior managers, who need limited visibility into the mailbox but do not actively participate in responding to emails or using Emailgistics features.

Licensed Users

Any user who will be actively working with emails in an Emailgistics-managed mailbox, such as responding to or organizing messages, will require a license. Additionally, any admin who needs access to Emailgistics reporting for team performance and mailbox metrics must also be licensed.

Below is a breakdown of roles that can either be licensed or unlicensed in Emailgistics, detailing their level of access and responsibilities within the system.
