Module 3: Setting up conversation ID

Conversation ID is an excellent tool to track, trace and audit messages. With conversation ID, you can find specific client interactions simply by referring to the ID. To set up conversation ID, you need to:

  • Go to mailboxes in the Emailgistics Admin Centre 
  • Select the mailbox that you would like to set the conversation ID in. Here you’ll be able to set the conversation ID as it’ll show up in the subject line of your emails. In the prefix section, add what you would like the ID to show as in the subject line – (e.g., thread, company name).  
  • Now you’ll notice that emails that arrive in your mailbox within the Outlook desktop app, they are all assigned the conversation ID number.
