If you receive an unanswered or unassigned alert and the message is not in the stated folder, it could be because:
- The message has already been actioned.
- The message is not in your Outlook view. Check Outlook on the Web to see if it appears there. If it does, it could be due to cached mode or the message being marked as private or secure.
