Emailgistics

How to elevate your Outlook experience

Microsoft Outlook is an application that is used by everyone, every day. It’s likely the first thing you open in the morning when you start work and the last thing you close before ending the day. Emailgistics not only easily integrates into Office 365, but it also helps to elevate your user experience, all while working within Outlook.

Here are three tips to elevate your experience in Outlook.

1. View folders by category

In the folder list view, you’re able to see all the folders you have including mail, calendar, and any other specific folders you have created. You can easily go through the different types of Outlook folders inside the folder list view within the Navigation pane.

Setting up categories within Outlook is a more faster and flexible alternative to having separate folders for different topics and subjects. Unlike folders, you can add the same email in different categories. This means your inbox is going to be more organized and you can maximize the space in your inbox.

2. Avoid the use of unnecessary subfolders in Outlook

Avoiding the use of unnecessary subfolders in Outlook eliminates clutter and makes sure no email goes unseen. You can easily sort emails to the relevant folder and set reminders to answer emails and finish tasks.

With the Emailgistics add-in, you’re able to view conversation history and pick up where you left off. This way, you’re always in the loop with your coworkers and you can collectively meet your SLAs.

3. Use the reading pane on the right side of the screen

Using the reading pane means that your Emailgistics add-in will appear when you open a message. Through this, you can assign the message to someone else, snooze it, and even add conversation notes to remember the important details. Conversation notes can also be viewed by colleagues that the message is forwarded.
